How do I install SkoolPal?
- Install the SkoolPal extension from the Chrome Web Store.
- Pin it: click the puzzle-piece icon in your toolbar, then the pin next to SkoolPal.
- Click the SkoolPal icon and sign in with Google or email. Use the same email as your Skool account.
- Open any Skool community you're in and click the SkoolPal button (the little robot) in Skool's top bar.
How do I add a community?
Open the community on Skool, click the SkoolPal button in the top bar, and press Add this community. SkoolPal reads the courses you have access to, one at a time. You can close the window; it keeps going in the background and Captures shows progress.
A course changed. How do I update it?
Add the community again. SkoolPal picks up new and changed lessons.
Why are some courses missing?
SkoolPal only reads courses you can open in Skool. Locked courses (a higher tier, or not unlocked yet) are skipped. If you can open a course but it's missing, add the community again, then post in Help & Support.
Troubleshooting
I don't see the SkoolPal button in Skool's top bar
- Refresh the Skool page.
- Check the extension is turned on at chrome://extensions.
- Still missing? Click the SkoolPal icon in your browser toolbar; the dashboard opens from there too.
The dashboard says I'm signed out or offline
Click the SkoolPal icon and sign in again. If it still shows offline, check your internet connection, then try again in a minute.
An answer is wrong or missing something
Click the thumbs-down on the answer and add a note. Ask about one course at a time for sharper answers, or name the lesson ("in lesson 4, โฆ").
Where is "Report a problem"?
Open the SkoolPal dashboard, click Help (the question mark at the bottom of the left rail), then Report a problem.
Account & billing
How much does SkoolPal cost?
Founding Members pay $7/month, locked for life. You join the SkoolPal community on Skool, and your membership is your license.
How do I get a refund?
Not useful in your first 7 days? Post in Help & Support in the SkoolPal community for a full refund.
How do I cancel?
Cancel your SkoolPal membership in Skool (your profile โ Settings โ Billing). SkoolPal stops working at the end of the billing period.
How do I delete my data?
Remove a community anytime from the dashboard (Remove next to it). To delete your whole account and library, post in Help & Support and we'll take care of it. See the privacy policy.
Privacy & course creators
Is my Skool login safe?
Yes. SkoolPal never asks for your Skool password and never stores your Skool session. It reads a course in your own browser, only when you click Add, using the login you already have.
Can I get the full transcript of a lesson?
No. Full transcripts are turned off to protect the creators whose courses you're in. Ask specific questions instead; every answer links the lesson it came from.
I run a Skool community. Can I opt out?
Yes, for free. Post in Help & Support in the SkoolPal community with your community's link and we'll remove its content and keep it from being added again.
